While 2020 has been a great disruptor, it has also been the great accelerator. Through the many trials this year has introduced, there’s been a rush of innovation, adaptation, and a return to the basics.
To share the many different ways Christian leaders are taking advantage of this year’s events, I spoke with Pastors and Ministry leaders from around the country about how COVID-19 has impacted their Kingdom efforts and what they project the lasting impacts will be.
We released this set of conversations as a 5-part podcast series: The State of the Church.
These conversations provide encouragement, insight, and forward-looking tips for navigating the impacts of 2020. The series consists of the following conversations. Don’t miss:
- Troy Pollock, Chief Ambassador of PushPay, the leading organization in church giving and technology, on the acceleration of technology since COVID-19, and how those accepting change will experience success.
- Jud Wilhite, Senior Pastor of Central Church in Las Vegas, sharing motivation to keep pushing through the chaos of COVID and remind us to return to the fundamentals of faith.
- A panel of pastors from smaller churches including Lillian Daniel, Jim Gribnitz, and John Hagmann on managing the switch to virtual services with agility and open-mindedness.
- Chris Seay, founding and Lead Pastor of Ecclesia, on how the greatest commandment, to love our brother as ourselves, will lead to even stronger connections than before through COVID-19.
- And coming soon, a bonus conversation with Chris Hodges, Founding and Senior Pastor of Church of the Highlands, to close out the series with his insight and encouragement for reopening church.
