Emily graduated from Houston Baptist University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and a minor in Psychology. During her time in college, she gained a heart for student ministry and began serving in her church and community. In January 2021, Emily was called to serve the youth ministry at First Baptist Rosenberg. During her time there, she gained experience in servant leadership, encouraging others, and educating the next generation about Christ.

Emily is married to her college sweetheart, Michael. They currently reside in Rosenberg. You can find them on weekends trying new coffee shops, enjoying sushi, catching an Astros game, or spending time with friends and family.
