To submit your resume for future opportunities, click here and attach your resume file to the email draft that will automatically open.
Please leave the subject of that email as it appears when the draft opens as well. After you submit your resume through this email process, our team will be in touch to help you build your profile with us!
Only the staff here at Vanderbloemen will know that you are considering opportunities. Our process is completely confidential. Candidates will always know, give their consent, and be interviewed before their information is shared with the hiring organization.
The process begins when you apply for a position through our website. After applying, you will receive an automated email with instructions to complete your candidate profile. Top candidates are invited to a phone call, interview, or screening with a recruiter. A smaller group of candidates moves forward for a longer interview with a consultant, and the final group is presented directly to the organization for consideration. The organization, our client, then conducts its final formal interview process to make a selection.
Candidates are encouraged to submit all documents as PDFs. This ensures your documents are easily accessible and formatted as desired.
No, you only need to complete your Candidate Profile once. All future applications will automatically be linked to your profile as long as you apply using the same email address. While you may receive an automated email requesting you to fill out the Candidate Profile after each application, you can disregard this email if your profile is already complete. If you’ve filled out your profile within the last six months to a year and there are no updates to make, no further action is required. However, if you’d like to edit or update your profile, use the links provided in the automated email to make changes.
Currently, we do not offer direct access for you to view your Candidate Profile online. If you would like a copy of your responses, you can reach out to our team and request a PDF copy of your profile.
At this time, we do not offer personalized feedback on resumes or interviews. Providing feedback could create a conflict with our clients, as we want candidates to be authentically themselves rather than trying to meet specific expectations of the client. Additionally, offering feedback could mistakenly imply that we are representing the client’s opinions. This policy ensures fairness and transparency in the hiring process.
No. The majority of the search process is done within our company, which means that the organizations will not see any of your information until you are presented as a finalist. That said, feel free to write a single general cover letter which we will keep on file and review in consideration for all of the searches to which you apply. We’d hate to have you spend a lot of extra time working on multiple cover letters.
Absolutely! We understand that for many people, the time of searching for a new opportunity is one of knocking on multiple doors and seeing which ones open. We would encourage you to keep an eye on our website and apply to positions that would be a good fit based on your experience, skills, and passions. We are constantly working with new churches and organizations which means you never know when that potential perfect fit is right around the corner.
Keep your eyes on your email as we send regular updates throughout the process. We will be in touch to let you know whether we are still considering your candidacy, if we’re following up with a few specific candidates, or if your candidacy isn’t going to move forward.
