We are a church of multiple locations and multiple generations in Northern Colorado. You’ll find a group of imperfect people. Some of us may look rough around the edges, while others may look put together. But we’re all broken people. Expect to be welcomed and comfortable. About the Executive Pastor

The Executive Pastor (XP) serves as a key leader on the church’s executive team, responsible for overseeing the development, alignment, and execution of all ministry departments to fulfill the church’s mission and vision. This role focuses on leadership development, strategic execution, and organizational health across the entire ministry landscape of a large church.

The XP will have influence and input on shaping vision and strategy across all campuses, as well as provide leadership on the Executive Leadership Team. The XP will also be a primary driver in developing a Leadership pipeline for Foundations Church

The Executive Pastor responsibilities include:

Central team leadership: Oversight and development of our Central Support Departments

  •  HR
  • Family Ministries
  •  Groups
  • Weekends
  •  Communication
  •  Missions and Outreach

Develop a central strategy that will support more campuses

  • Effectively communicate the vision, purpose, strategy, and processes to both staff and volunteers.
  • Intentionally develop and coach direct reports—and empower them to do the same for their teams—creating a culture of continual leadership growth and multiplication.
  • Work collaboratively with all ministry leaders to offer support and resources.
  • Collaborate with the COO to establish and manage annual and project budgets.
  • Implement and shape a strategy that accomplishes the vision of the church.

Professional Experience

  • Substantial experience in Ministry leadership is essential, showcasing a track record of proven competence.
  • Possess Ministry leadership experience within a multisite context, demonstrating an ability to navigate the unique dynamics of one church with multiple locations/venues.
  • Proven experience in effectively leading and empowering both staff and volunteer teams
