Meet Urban Impact Foundation
Pastor Ed Glover founded Urban Impact Foundation in 1995 to help address the profound and unique challenges facing today’s urban communities, which he witnessed first-hand every day for over nine years as a Pittsburgh North Side resident and pastor at Allegheny Center Alliance Church. During this time, Pastor Glover recognized that the trials of children and families in urban communities could only be effectively addressed through holistic development of the mind, body, and spirit through Christ– one person, one family, one block at a time. Thus, Urban Impact was born!
Urban Impact Foundation’s Mission: To fulfill Christ’s Great Commission on the North Side of Pittsburgh by following His holistic ministry model by investing in the lives of at-risk children, youth, and their families to develop responsible followers of Christ.
Navigating ministry and business
Urban Impact recognized their need for a new Director of Finance who could proficiently navigate both the ministry and business aspects of their operations. To aid in their search for this specialized candidate, they sought out the assistance of Vanderbloemen.
Given that ministry is a pivotal component in Urban Impact’s mission and goals, the chosen candidate needed to possess a background and understanding in both the ministry and business fields.
As the overseer of financial operations within the Urban Impact Foundation, the director of finance will manage and train financial and program staff. They will work strategically with the business management team to ensure the well-being of the community and organization. The ideal candidate is a true leader with a passion for their role.
Finding his God-sent position

We are thrilled to announce that Robert Clark Logan has been appointed as the new director of finance. He and his wife, Helen, will be relocating to Pittsburgh, PA for the role.
