PODCAST | Preparing for a Post-Christian Culture in America With Jon Ritner
By: Vanderbloemen
This week, our Founder and CEO, William Vanderbloemen talks with pastor and author, Jon Ritner, about his incredible experience working in Europe’s post-Christian culture and how he believes American churches should begin preparing for this unavoidable shift in ministry.
Jon has been the lead pastor at Ecclesia church in Hollywood since 2015 after working as a “micro church” planter in Brussels, Belgium and spending 10 years growing a church in the state of Virginia. He is also the author of the book Positively Irritating: Embracing a Post-Christian World to Form a More Faithful & Innovative Church. He has a lot under his belt and a lot of wisdom to share with ministry leaders like you.
On today’s podcast conversation, Jon shares about God placing a specific call on his life and what he discovered about adapting churches from being centered around Sunday morning sermons to a more communal experience with a disciple-making structure.
Jon’s knowledge is encouraging and helpful for understanding how to embrace challenging transitions within the Church and continue growing gospel-centered communities.
