Paul David Tripp is a pastor, author, and conference speaker. He is the president of Paul Tripp Ministries and works to connect the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life. This vision has led Paul to write 17 books on Christian living, produce 14 teaching series, and travel the world speaking at events. Paul's passion is to help people understand how the gospel speaks with practical hope into all the things people experience in this broken world.

With a pastor's heart for pastors, he is also the Executive Director of The Center for Pastoral Life and Care. His books include What Did You Expect?, Parenting, How People Change, and, most recently, Dangerous Calling.

William talks with Paul about:

  • How your ministry is shaped more by your heart than your experience or skills, and what that means for pastors
  • Why we need to pastor pastors
  • Why we shouldn't put pastors on a pedestal
  • The warning signs of pastor burnout or blow ups
  • The red flags on an unhealthy ministry candidate
