Stonebriar Community Church Hires Pastor of College and Young Adults

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! Stonebriar Community Church found their new Pastor of College and Young Adults.

Stonebriar Community Church began in 1998 by a group of people who met to discuss and pray about forming a church in the center of one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities - Frisco, Texas. Stonebriar exists to glorify God by encouraging all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ. Their mission is to love God, love others, and pursue spiritual growth with ethical living. The ministries at Stonebriar are intended to spread the Gospel around the world and uplift communities. While meeting with their leadership team, we discovered their need for a Pastor of College and Young Adults that would collaboratively build, innovate, develop, shepherd, and lead their College and Young Adult ministry.

Joey Dean has previously served as a Lead Pastor for over 5 years and has vast experience in vocational ministry roles. Joey feels called to be a disciple maker and he believes that genuine personal discipleship is key to the growth of individuals and of a church family. Joey has a passion for equipping believers to create disciple-making movements wherever God has planted them. 

The Dean family strives to live transparently while building a deep community with others. Joey, his wife Allison, and their three children are excited to move from Colorado to Frisco, Texas, where they will help grow the ministries and fulfill the mission of Stonebriar Community Church.
