Second Reformed Church Hires New Pastor

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! Second Reformed Church in Marion, New York has found its new Pastor.

Second Reformed Church is dedicated to reflecting the light of Christ in their community. Their vision of “LIGHT” is described as loving, inviting, gathering, honoring, and instructing. Second Reformed was in need of a new pastor to help them honor their purpose and live out their beliefs. After we spent time getting to know Jake Buss, he became a clear fit for this role.

Jake has spent many years serving in ministry as a youth pastor, worship leader, and associate pastor. He is confident that the Lord has called him to preach, shepherd, and lead the local church. Jake has committed to serving the local church in whatever capacity the Lord leads him. He believes God has been preparing him for this role of Pastor for many years.

Jake and his wife Samantha, are so happy to stay in Western New York which is where he grew up. He is eager to be used by the Lord for the glory of God and the happiness of His people through this position. We are grateful for the chance to work with Second Reformed Church and Jake on this search, and we are thrilled for them in this new season of leadership.
