LYNDEN, Washington – North County Christ the King Church (NCCTK) in Lynden, Washington has expanded its leadership team by appointing Steve Osborne as their new Teaching Pastor. North County Christ the King Church is a non-denominational multi-site church and they are continuing to expand. Their Lynden, Washington campus began with 68 volunteers and held their first service at the Lynden Christian High School Performing Arts Center with over 400 people in attendance.
“North County Christ the King Church is a vibrant, growing community of faith and Steve is a fantastic addition to the staff. With his enthusiastic and passionate personality, he will be a great team player and will complement the teaching ministry of Lead Pastor, Kurt Langstraat. I’m honored that I had the privilege to work with Pastor Kurt, Steve, and other church leaders. I look forward to hearing about NCCTK’s continued impact for Christ on the greater Lynden region.” Senior Executive Search Consultant Tim Gocha said.
It was during Steve Osborne’s internship and schooling at Azusa Pacific University when he felt God’s call on his life to serve the church through full-time ministry. As a husband, father, and pastor, he has a passion to reach and grow families in their relationship with Jesus. Steve joins North County Christ the King Church staff after previously serving as the Young Adults Pastor at Daybreak Church in Carlsbad, California. At NCCTK, Steve will be providing spiritual oversight by creating healthy guidance, support, and mentorship as their Teaching Pastor. He and his wife Darcy, and their two children are excited to join the community of faith at NCCTK.
