SAN ANTONIO, Texas- New Creation Fellowship Church of San Antonio, Texas has expanded its leadership team by appointing Clifton Taylor as their new Youth Pastor. New Creation Fellowship is known today as a ministry with a strong emphasis on the Word, Worship, and Missions. The church was formed in 1984 as the Power of God began to move mightily and confirmed the faith of those praying for spiritual renewal in the city of San Antonio.
Clifton Taylor has felt the Lord’s call on his life since a young age and has spent his career pouring into student ministries around the Memphis, Tennessee area, where he was born and raised. He is passionate about investing in relationships with students, holding events for outreach, and serving schools and teachers in the community. He already admires the leadership of New Creation Fellowship and the atmosphere they create during their services. He is prepared to step into this Youth Pastor role and lead the vision, mission, culture, and values of the youth ministry and ensure that the students are consistently exposed to gospel-centered teaching. Clifton possesses a genuine spirit for his faith, work, and relationships, and will be a great asset to the church leadership.
Chantel McHenry, Executive Search Consultant, led this exciting search and shared that “the leadership loves the Taylor’s already and can’t wait to engage them in the life of the church.” New Creation is doing tremendous Kingdom work in the San Antonio area and we’re anticipating hearing great things about Clifton and NCF.
Clifton Taylor and his wife Sheena, have been married for 14 years. They have three daughters, Ayna, Alayna, and Aliyah, who are just as excited to begin this journey as a family. This position will highlight Clifton’s gift for communicating God’s word and engaging students in authentically relevant ways. Vanderbloemen is honored to have partnered with New Creation Fellowship on this search, and we’re thrilled for them in this next season of leadership.
