Kensington Church Hires Senior Pastor

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

For 30 years, Kensington Church has lived out its mission of seeing everyone transformed and mobilized by Jesus through church planting, campusing, and establishing global partnerships. Today, Kensington exists to make space for the next generation of leaders to hear from God and lead the church forward. Kensington Church strives to be a warm, welcoming, and authentic community where people from Troy, Michigan can come together and worship intentionally. 

When our team first met with Kensington Church, they expressed their need for a Senior Pastor that would build a solid foundation for the church which had been laid out by many. While searching for this spiritual, visionary, and strategic leader, we found Brian Mowrey to be the perfect fit for this role. 

Brian Mowrey is an inspiring speaker, equipped with vast experience to help churches and teams think innovatively. Brian has served in multiple ministry leadership roles alongside churches and organizations that have seen great success under his influence. Brian has a heart for the word of God and a passion for teaching biblical principles for life transformation. We are excited for Brian to serve as the new Senior Pastor at Kensington Church and contribute to furthering their mission. 

Brian, his wife, and their four children are looking forward to their move from Bethel, Connecticut to Troy, Michigan. The Mowrey family enjoys spending time with loved ones, the outdoors, and being involved in ministry communities. We are excited for the Mowrey’s to start their new chapter at Kensington Church.
