Georgetown Bible Church Hires Lead Pastor

HUDSONVILLE, Michigan - Georgetown Bible Church in Hudson, Michigan has expanded its leadership team by appointing Bryan Walmer as their new Lead Pastor. Georgetown Bible is a church dedicated to being people who are surrendering, serving, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Calvary Baptist was seeking a lead pastor in accordance with Ephesians 4:12 -16, someone to equip the saints for the work of ministry, speak the truth in love, and build up the body of Christ in a growing and maturing relationship with Christ, the head of the church.

Sydney Harris, Staffing Manager at Vanderbloemen shared, “Bryan is great - he has been in his current context for 10 years and moved into a senior leadership role there doing some teaching and preaching. He is a leader who can help Georgetown achieve a fresh new vision.”

Bryan is a faithful and well-trained pastor with over 10 years of experience in church ministry at varying levels of leadership. God has graciously called him to serve and shepherd His church, primarily using his gifts in the preaching and teaching of His word, discipleship, and the building and equipping of Christ-followers to do the work of the ministry. Bryan is compassionate and he loves to raise up leaders in the church, he is eager to do so at Georgetown Bible.

He is married to his wife, Katie with whom he says he is, “beyond blessed to have two young and energetic children with.” They are all eager to call the Hudson area home and get plugged into the community of Georgetown Bible. Bryan’s strengths will excel in this new role. We are honored to be part of the Lord’s work of bringing Bryan to Georgetown Bible Church and couldn’t be more thrilled for them in this season of new pastoral leadership.
