Fair Oaks Church Hires Senior Pastor

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! Fair Oaks Church found their new Senior Pastor.

Fair Oaks Church has a rich history of God leading people to follow Jesus in the California region. Since 1952, the congregation has existed to proclaim the life-giving message of Christ and see generations of lives transformed by grace. Fair Oaks has a vision to make disciples of Jesus in a healthy church family so that everyone can flourish. They live out their mission by valuing service, generosity, unity, and outreach in their community. 

When we first met with Fair Oaks Church, we discovered their need for a Senior Pastor who could utilize God-given experiences and spiritual gifts to lead the staff, church family, and community to flourish in their walk with Christ. Through our search process, we found Donny Butkus to be the perfect match for this role. 

Donny has over 20 years of experience serving in churches around the U.S. He has developed strong teaching, preaching, and administrative skills in his pastoral and ministerial roles. Donny is passionate about working with teams to plan and implement strategies that help people and communities grow. We are confident that his unique gifts and strengths will serve Fair Oaks Church greatly with Donny leading as Senior Pastor.  

The Butkus family is excited to move to California from Colorado and join Fair Oaks Church in their mission. Their family loves adventures and interacting with others. They will be a great addition to the community at Fair Oaks.
