Emmanuel Enid Hires Lead Pastor

ENID, Oklahoma - Emmanuel Enid in Enid, Oklahoma has expanded its leadership team by appointing Michael “Shonn” Keels as their new Lead Pastor. Emmanuel Enid's mission is to love God and strengthen people in their faith. After much prayer and consideration, Shonn feels confident that God is calling him to lead and serve at Emmanuel Enid.

Shonn’s purpose in life is to honor the Lord through serving his family, the local church, his city, and the world as God opens doors. He has devoted his life to serving the Lord in pastoral ministry since May of 1994 and is honored to continue that service at Emmanuel Enid. His spiritual gifts of preaching, teaching, leadership, and evangelism will help him excel as a Lead pastor. His vision is to “make disciples” as the Lord commands.

Shonn and his wife of 28 years, Bonnie, are eager to join Emmanuel Enid. They have a very close family with 2 grown-up daughters, a son in law and a granddaughter. They love to eat, laugh, play games, and serve the Lord together. They are excited to be part of this church family and look forward to fruitful years serving and growing together as the Lord allows. We are honored to have been part of this search and can’t wait to see the ways that Shonn leads Emmanuel Enid in this coming season.
