Embassy City Church Hires Executive Pastor

IRVING, Texas – Embassy City Church in Irving, Texas has expanded its leadership team by appointing Gregory Poss as their new Executive Pastor. Embassy City Church is a non-denominational, spirit-filled church, answering God’s call to see the city of Irving and surrounding areas reached with the message of Jesus Christ. Embassy City Church is also a sister church of Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. Their community worships with over 1,000 members each week and they are passionate about seeing people saved, discipled, and serving. 

“This was the first Executive Pastor hire for Embassy City, so the chemistry between Pastor Tim and this new hire was going to be key. They tapped us for this search for that very reason,” said Sarah Robins, our Vice President of Sales and Client Relations. 

Growing up in a traditional Christian home and receiving Christ in middle school served as a catalyst for Gregory Poss’ heart for ministry. He brings many years of education and experience in the areas of business, administration, and ministry to the Executive Pastor role at Embassy City Church. He is passionate about casting vision, mentoring, and teaching while developing and overseeing staff. Gregory and his wife, Terri have been married for thirty-three years and have three children.
