Bethany Christian Centre Hires Lead Pastor

DURHAM, England - Bethany Christian Centre in Durham, England has expanded its leadership team by appointing Jason Mayhall as Lead Pastor. Bethany exists to love God, people, and make disciples. In the Bible, Bethany was a village where Jesus' closest friends lived which is what Bethany Christian Centre strives to be - friends and followers of Jesus Christ serving in the community. This church is a place for people who love and desire to serve the living God, and for those who are seeking to find out about the Christian faith.

Jayson Mayhall grew up and studied in the United States, but through various mission opportunities around the world, has developed a love for travel and adventure. He is passionate about teaching, serving, and leading the church. His desire to motivate, train, and disciple new believers and potential leaders align with the mission of Bethany Christian Centre.

“Jason has a strong call to the local church and leads in a relational, encouraging manner. His time spent abroad doing mission work has created an evident passion for cross-cultural ministry. I am eager to see how the Lord uses this willingness to serve abroad at Bethany,” said Recruiting Manager, Diana Waks.

Jayson, his wife, Candice, and their 4 children look forward to becoming part of the community at Bethany Christian Centre in Durham. They love to travel as a family and experience cultures different from their own (they are especially thrilled to be living in North East England).
