Meet Skidaway Island Methodist Church:

Skidaway Island Methodist Church began in 1979 when eight acres of land were purchased for a potential church. Just four years later, SIMC opened its doors to the first-ever attendees.

Here at SIMC, we embrace a vibrant, yet traditional order of worship. The Methodist teaching and preaching found at SIMC are grounded in Scripture, informed by Christian tradition, enlivened by personal experience, and tested by reason.

Members and visitors can expect relevant and meaningful preaching, familiar hymns, great choral singing, and professional instrumentalists that contribute to the spirit of worship. We follow the liturgical calendar, which reflects the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the sending of the Holy Spirit to the Church.
