About the Senior Pastor:
We are seeking a part-time stated pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth and community outreach. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment, with the potential for future full-time employment as our congregation grows. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Presbyterian traditions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for nurturing relationships within our church family and beyond.
The Senior Pastor's Responsibilities Include:

Lead weekly Sunday worship services, incorporating traditional Presbyterian liturgy and engaging sermons that resonate with our congregation.

Moderate session meetings

Provide pastoral care and support to church members, including those unable to attend; offering guidance, counseling, and prayer as needed.

Collaborate to develop and implement strategies for attracting new members and engaging the community.

Foster an environment that encourages participation from individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Represent our church in community events, building relationships and promoting our mission of love and service.

Qualifications

Ordained minister, preferred, (or ordainable) in good standing with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), or a compatible denomination.

Strong commitment to and knowledge of Presbyterian theology and values, with a deep understanding of the Book of Order and worship practices

Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver engaging sermons.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our congregation and community.
