About the Senior Pastor:

We are seeking a part-time stated pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth and community outreach. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment, with the potential for future full-time employment as our congregation grows. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Presbyterian traditions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for nurturing relationships within our church family and beyond.

The Senior Pastor's Responsibilities Include: 

• Lead weekly Sunday worship services, incorporating traditional Presbyterian liturgy and engaging sermons that resonate with our congregation.

•  Moderate session meetings

•  Provide pastoral care and support to church members, including those unable to attend; offering guidance, counseling, and prayer as needed.

•  Collaborate to develop and implement strategies for attracting new members and engaging the community.

•  Foster an environment that encourages participation from individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

•  Represent our church in community events, building relationships and promoting our mission of love and service.

 Qualifications

• Ordained minister, preferred, (or ordainable) in good standing with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), or a compatible denomination.

• Strong commitment to and knowledge of Presbyterian theology and values, with a deep understanding of the Book of Order and worship practices

• Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver engaging sermons.

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our congregation and community.
