Looking Back To Move Forward
By: Vanderbloemen
As we prepare for the new year, we wanted to take some time to reflect on the past year and the opportunities we’ve had to come alongside you as you further the Kingdom of God. We know that an incomplete team disrupts your mission, and it has been an honor to equip churches and organizations this year with fulfilled team needs.
This year, we were able to celebrate alongside the churches and ministries that we serve as you have been able to continue your God-given missions with healthy, complete teams. We were honored to see God’s sovereignty through a pandemic with North Parkersburg Baptist, learn about the mission and vision of schools like San Antonio Christian School, and walk alongside Apartment Life to pursue diversity, equity, and inclusion. Of the many ministries we’ve gotten to shepherd through new processes and leadership placements this year, each one has a unique DNA and mission, which we are deeply grateful to have gotten to witness up close.
We were also able to have critical conversations from experts in their fields of ministry as we work to better understand and serve the body of Christ. We were honored to have important conversations with various experts within the Black Church during Black History Month, we took time to focus on rest and how leaders can pursue it well, and we received wisdom from incredible thought leaders such as Gordon MacDonald, Kadi Cole, Jon Ritner, and Shawn Lovejoy.
Ultimately, this has been a year of flexibility, growth, and carefully listening to the Lord’s direction, and it has been an honor to do so alongside you. As we work with the body of Christ, we are constantly encouraged by your stories of trust in God’s faithfulness and obedience to His calling. Though 2021 has been an incredible year, we look forward to the year ahead and the opportunities it will provide for equipping the Church. We are grateful for you, and cannot wait for what 2022 has in store.
From our team to yours, Happy New Year!
