Tim brings almost 30 years’ experience as a Lead Pastor and has a passion for the local church and its leaders. He is seasoned in areas of church transitioning, and revitalization, organizational management, and mentoring staff members and empowering them to reach their full Kingdom potential. Through his years of ministry, Tim has held several leadership positions in his denominational setting and was deeply involved in local and global partnerships and initiatives. He is skilled at effectively collaborating with, influencing and empowering others.
Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, a Master’s of Church Management from Olivet Nazarene University, and is a graduate of the Beeson Institute for Advanced Church Leadership, a field-based approach to excellence in leadership and organizational development, through Asbury Seminary.
As the VP of Consulting at Vanderbloemen Search Group, Tim works directly with our clients, guiding them through Vanderbloemen's extensive search process to find the right staff for their church. He focuses on discovering the client’s unique DNA and matching them with candidates who possess the skills, gifts, and leadership qualities they need to help the church accomplish its’ vision for their preferred future. Tim also works with senior church leadership in the areas of staff and succession consulting. Tim’s passion is to partner with church leadership in making educated decisions in staffing, organizational management, and strategic planning to accomplish the mission of making disciples for Christ.
Tim and his wife Debby currently live in the greater Houston area. They love to spend time with their two daughters and their families, vacation in warm, sunny destinations. Tim has been known to zip-line through the mountains of El Salvador, swim with stingrays off Grand Cayman, and hang-glide in Rio Janeiro. On any given Friday evening, you may find Tim and Debby eating at their favorite restaurant or sipping on a Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks.
