Beginning with a group of six families in 1984, Christ Community Church has grown to over 5,000 weekend attenders and now includes four campuses – St. Charles Campus (the original campus), DeKalb Campus in DeKalb County, Blackberry Creek Campus in southern Kane County, and Bartlett Campus currently meeting at the Bartlett Community Center. Christ Community Church desires to do the best job possible of loving God and loving people. A significant focus on reaching spiritually lost people has resulted in over 200 new believers being baptized each year.
The Creative Arts Director & Team Captain will office at the St. Charles Campus and be responsible for providing leadership in the development and implementation of all aspects of the Creative Arts Ministry. The goal of the Creative Arts Ministry is to support the teaching and outreach ministries of all Christ Community Church campuses through genuine worship and excellence in both programming and presentation. They will focus on leading people into the life transforming presence of God and developing a Creative Arts community that is deeply devoted to Christ, to one another, to the pursuit of excellence, and to worship as a lifestyle.
The Creative Arts Director will oversee the production of weekly services, outreach events, and special programs. They will develop their staff and volunteer teams as they seek to create a comprehensive worship ministry to the Christ Community Church congregation. They will also have regular shepherding and discipleship responsibility and provide counseling and teaching as needed.
