Search Consultant

Jamie Broach Byrd serves on the Consultant Team at Vanderbloemen Search Group.

Prior to joining the firm, Jamie worked as a corporate attorney at an international law firm focusing on private equity and mergers and acquisition work.  As a young attorney, she became skilled in the area of due-diligence and honed her negotiation and contract drafting skills (no misplaced comma gets by her!).  More recently, Jamie has worked extensively in the non-profit arena as the co-founder and president of a non-profit which raises close to $1 million a year for brain cancer research.

As a Search Consultant at Vanderbloemen Search Group, Jamie works directly with our clients, guiding them through the extensive search process to find the right key staff for their church. Jamie’s focus is discovering the DNA of our clients and matching them with candidates who possess the skills and gifts they need.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Trinity University in San Antonio and a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law where she discovered her love for Longhorn football.

In addition to her work at the firm, Jamie serves on several non-profit foundations and boards in the Houston area and is an active member at St. Luke's United Methodist Church where she teaches a third grade Sunday School class and volunteers as an adult small group leader. She and her husband, Jeff, have five young children. When not working, she enjoys cheering on her kids at their various sporting events and activities, volunteering in the community, and dragging her family to Longhorn football games in Austin, Texas.
